This customer bought a new home and wanted an inspection of his existing insulation. Clint with Green Factor Insulation went out to assess the situation. During this inspection, we found that the attic and crawlspace were poorly insulated. The crawlspace also showed signs of standing water and needed a sump pump installed to solve this. Our team started in the attic and removed the existing insulation. After, they applied open cell spray foam to seal the attic.
Next, our team moved on to treat the crawlspace. Our team found evidence of standing water during the inspection so to solve this a sump pump was installed. After, our team installed a crawl space door to better insulate the environment. Lastly our team encapsulated the crawlspace by spraying closed cell spray foam to the walls.
Now, this customer will not only have a better bill at the end of every month, they will also have a more comfortable living space. The upstairs will become more comfortable year round and their floors will be warmer in the winter. This customer will also not have to worry about having water in their crawlspace and this will reduce the risk of mold.
This customer had a new metal building that was in need of insulation. They were wanting part of the building to be made into a living space and the other half would be a work area. After an assessment of the area, our team decided to insulate the living space with open-cell spray foam and the work area with closed-cell spray foam. After the insulation was sprayed, our customers could continue construction to finish the living area in the building!
This company was in need of insulating an airport hanger. Insulating an airport hanger can allow the building to maintain and regulate the indoor temperature and will allow the building to be more energy efficient. This will also help protect the aircraft and equipment from extreme temperatures while also protecting it from moisture. Our team installed spray foam insulation to control the climate in the home.
At Green Factor Insulation, we work alongside Brown Industries to insulate their refrigerated cargo boxes. Brown Industries builds top-quality van bodies, trailers, rail equipment, and custom vehicles. Brown Industries wanted to provide a truck that met all cold storage transportation needs. Insulating these trucks ensures that no matter what is being delivered it will always be kept cold. They pride themselves on giving exceptional delivering services all over the United States.
Our team will spray the inside of the box with closed-cell spray foam and then shave the excess off the studs allowing Brown to be able to attach sheeting to the inside of their boxes. The pictures show our team installing it and also the final product when the spray foam is in.
This customer had a new roof restored 3 years prior but was already experiencing a leak! We rushed out to address these problems and found that the metal plate on top of the roof needed replaced. After we removed this, we added new decking and then installed rooled roofing. We finished the project by cleaning up all of the debris and ensuring that the area was spotless. We also conducted a thorough inspection to confirm that the new roofing installation was secure and that there were no other potential issues. Our team made sure that the roof was not only watertight but also aesthetically pleasing.
